Marcello Maniglia, Ph.D
Post doctoral researcher in Visual Neuroscience, currently at University of California Riverside (UCR) working with Aaron Seitz. My work focuses on perceptual learning, neural plasticity and visual rehabilitation .
I use psychophysics and non-invasive brain stimulation techniques (TMS, tES) to
- understand mechanisms of learning and neural plasticity in the normal and aging brain
- develop visual trainings for clinical populations
- investigate the role of sensory areas in contextual modulation effects
